Represent your Affiliate - Kawana Touch 'Snappers'
The Kawana Snappers has a proud representative history and strong legacy from years gone by. It is our aim to get us back there.
The premier event for the touch calendar year is the Qld State Cup - a three-day Touch Football tournament that brings together more than 2000 players, referees and officials representing approximately 25 Affiliates from across Queensland.
This year, the event is held between 24 - 26 November 2023, at Coomera Sports Park, 53 Beattie Rd, Coomera.
Qld State Cup is a competitive carnival, with divisions ranging from Under 20s to Premier level (opens), Division A, Seniors, Masters and Veterans (see division and age restrictions further below).
There are a few important things we need you to consider:
Kawana Touch Association will provide a coordinator who will be the liaison to Queensland Touch Football and support person to teams in the lead up to and during the carnival.

There are a few important things we need you to consider:
- Team fees for the 2023 Qld State Cup are yet to be released, however in 2022 they were $1540 ($110 per player)
- Uniform costs will be approx. $65 per player (organised by Kawana Touch Association)
- Ideally each Kawana team will have 14 players – this allows individual costs to remain low and provides enough subs and coverage if there are injuries throughout the tournament.
- Important! If a Kawana team decides to go away with less than 14 players (the QTF minimal number is 10), then players in that team still need to cover the entire team fee.
- Each team will be required to source their own accommodation for the event.
